Lake Como Villa Wedding

It was on a spring morning when we received from the groom-to-be a phonecall from Switzerland (in other words the couple lives there).

To begin with he and his girlfriend had decided to get married on Lake Como. He needed to know something important from us. Next he immediately reveals their budget (absolutely correct for the number of guests and the chosen area) asking us if we were available to help them.

We confess that we were a bit surprised by the question, since it never happened to us before. We immediately reach out to him offering him all our willingness to help them and confirming that the budget was correct.

He was thrilled and asked us to arrange a video call with his girlfriend as well.

As always during our first meeting, the couple told us about their dream on the whole.

Firstly, they wanted a wedding on the lake because they loved Como very much, a city where they often spent their weekends in Italy. Secondly, they wanted an elegant but not too demanding Villa and thirdly the future bride wanted many flowers at her wedding, they wanted to focus a lot on floral arrangements and most importantly make it the common thread of the whole event.

As always, we immediately got to work offering them:

1. a lakeside villa surrounded by beautiful gardens for a splendid wedding in Lenno (Lake Como)
2. a rich, romantic floral arrangement in shades of white and powder pink
3. a fun and engaging photo booth

In the flower proposal we suggested:

• roses
• calla
• hydrangeas
• gypsophila

They decided to go for a rich tasting of sugared almonds and no favors.

The couple and guests concluded the evening listening and dancing to the notes of one of our talented DJs.
