The couple during our first meeting had no clue about our creative proposal … What? A chemistry-themed wedding (on Lake Maggiore) of course!
But let’s go step by step.
During our appointment in Milan while sipping a delicious fruit and vegetable juice, they told us about their dream that had an important ingredient: the location Stresa on Lake Maggiore.
They had chosen a Grand Hotel because they were looking for something elegant and refined for their guests, but in their eyes we also saw a desire for lightness, no full regalia and a hint of irony.
When they told us that they both work in pharmaceutical companies, in no time we proposed a chemistry theme, after all, isn’t love all a question of chemistry?
They immediately agree!
Given the luxurious location we couldn’t afford wrong and out of place choices, so we immediately start planning:
1. An invitation with the whole family and hearts spreaded all over it with oxytocin (the love hormone) chemical formula
2. Test tubes-shaped biscuit placeholders for each guest
3.Centerpieces with test tubes and flasks worthy of a pharmaceutical laboratory
In the flowers proposal we suggested:
- Freesias
- Dahlias
- Roses
- Ruffled greenery
all in white and pale pink shades.
Given the presence of their youngest daughter and the many young guests at the children’s table, we suggested edible M&M’s centerpieces .
The booklets and menus were created by our precious suppliers in tune with the invitation and the chemistry theme of course.
Last gem proposed, the Ape Calessino for the newlyweds transportation … a real surprise for all guests!
